Karim Benzema on his own was the catalyst that made it all tick. He was more involved in the buildup play and movement that ensures Ronaldo and Bale ticked together. Gareth Bale went on to become a bit of a part player in their last two seasons together, and even though he wasn’t fully fit, he shone like a million star any time he had the chance to get involved. His goal (overhead kick) in the 2018 UCL final was iconic and will never the forgotten. The peak of the BBC started in the 2015/16 season where they dismantled every team to win the champions league. A year later, they did the impossible by retaining it- a feat that has never been achieved in the history of the Champions League. And another year later, the trio went on to do something special. They won the Champions League for the third time running. To win the Champions League twice was said to be impossible. But they did, and didn’t stop at that too. They added a third.
